What is our Families Project?

Our Families Project is dedicated to supporting the families and carers of those with children at the primary schools in the Eastleigh Town area.

Funded by Eastleigh Town Council and Aviva, this project offers targeted help to families in these schools to improve their lives for the better.

Starting in September 2025, this project will work with:

  • Crescent Primary School
  • Norwood Primary School
  • Nightingale Primary School
  • Cherbourg Primary School
  • Stoneham Park Academy

And will offer tailored help with problems such as:

  • Living on a low income
  • Money issues
  • Landlord problems
  • Employment concerns
  • Relationship and family matters

We can check your eligibility for:

  • Food bank Referrals
  • Community Pantry vouchers
  • Fuel vouchers

You can get in touch with us:

Our family and schools adviser comes regularly to your school for drop in sessions or appointments (for the next date check your school's newsletter, talk to reception or get in touch with us direct).

How will our 2 year pilot be carried out?

As a 2 year pilot, throughout the term of the project we’ll be refining our working model to make it as targeted and effective as possible, hoping to be successful in seeking further funding to roll it out to other areas across the Borough.

Supported by the charitable, educational, statutory and commercial sectors, this project is a really powerful example of a variety of organisations coming together to support our most vulnerable residents - children.
